 Third Recognition Program Announces Class Valedictorian By: Elmie Lynn V. Lagajino 2004-04-21 17:05:38.899829 Joanabelle Sales, a petite, unassuming, intelligent lass from Polaris section is this years’ class valedictorian. This was announced in the third recognition program held separately from the commencement exercises. She will be receiving full scholarship if she decides to continue her studies in AUP, since the University offers scholarships for those who enroll as class valedictorians and salutatorians of their respective schools. This year’s salutatorian is Ariel Will Durante, while first honorable mention goes to Dianne Claire Estrada. All three received the Gold Honor Student medals. The most number of silver medallists were awarded as well. They are: Baloyo, Merryll, Dela Roca, Christine, Dimapils, Nikki, Fajardo, Kristoffer , Gozo, Dennis, Maalihan, Milliscent, Manez, Jade, Mendoza, Nephtali, Ofren, Harlene, Paras, Lovely, Peji, Kimmy, Reovoca, Alpha Amor,, Salvador, Darren, Sardanas, Puline, Sy, Andros, Tapia, Jeanette, Velando, Marvin, Velasco, Arianne, and Vitug, Anna Luisa. Bronze Honor Students are: Gonzaga, Rose Ann, Juayno, Jezene, and Yabres, Kate. Other Awardees recognized were the excellence in Math and Science sponsored by Mercury Drug. The medals also went to Joannabelle Sales who achieved the highest average in Math and science throughout high school. Also Awarded were the outstanding leaders of the Academy led by Ariel Will Durante, who received the Jerry Roxas leadership medal, followed by Marven Roy Adap, Dianne Estrada, Lovely Paras, and Marvin Velando who each received the Academy Gold medals for leadership. Other awardees were the Consistent Dean’s List from all year levels, the loyalty awards for the graduating seniors, the CAT awards, and the Pathfinder awards. The program was held in the University Gym on March 25 with Prof. Emeflor Monebit, VPAA giving the charge to the awardees. Emcees were Miss Melu Joy Guillermo and Mr. Jeruel Ibanez. The program ended at twelve noon just in time for the grand potluck with the parents of the awardees, the students and Academy faculty.Approved by Admin Other News... |
