Why was it necessary for Christ to go away?

"Nevertheless 1 tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter
will not come unto you; but if I depart, 1 will send Him unto you." John 16: 7.

By what means are sins washed away?
In whom has God made us accepted?
What song will they sing?
Will this he a time of judgment?
What protection has God promised His people during the seven last plagues?
Are the righteous freed from afflictions in this world?
If an answer does not come at once, what should we do?
